A Word From Rudy

Hello, and welcome to Pixel Lunch LLC. As Director of Public Relations, I'd like to thank you for visiting our website. Though we only started officially serving Pixel Lunch designs in Kansas City as well as across the nation in 2006, we can assure you we've been cooking for years, and have prepared many yummy websites and print designs for public consumption over the past decade.

Our lead designer, CEO, and my mom, Melissa Zarda, graduated with a BA in studio art with an emphasis on graphic design and a MA in sociology with an emphasis on urban affairs - both from the University of Missouri in Kansas City. A talented studio artist throughout childhood, she felt going to school to learn how to make things look better sounded more interesting than studying math or science.

Once she graduated (and adopted me), she immediately began working in the graphic design field as an in-house designer for a multi-million dollar company as well as volunteering her design services pro bono for several different non-profit organizations. A few years later she decided to put her experience to the test and branched out on her own. Pixel Lunch LLC was born!

Not only is mom doing her own thing now, but she's also assisting a few other companies with their graphic design and web design needs, too. She recently partnered with Midwest Dedicated, an excellent web hosting company that also builds databases and Content Management Systems (CMS). I like to think my mom has connections.

Besides digital design, mom also loves dogs (obviously), music, football, canoe trips, camping, volleyball, painting, spending time with good friends, board games, touring historic homes, cheesy shows on real estate and home renovation, living in the city, stormy weather, road trips, and more football.

Now that I gave you the scoop on everything, let me leave you with this: My mom really loves her work and really loves working with people.
